Our Story
Busy Bee Village was created by Danielle Gallop, a lifelong educator, entrepreneur, and community builder passionate about helping children grow through imagination, exploration, and meaningful play.
As the founder of Honey Tree Preschool & Childcare and a Certified Education Consultant in Connecticut, Danielle has spent her career supporting children, families, and educators. She is also the author of We Are All Superheroes, a children’s book celebrating individuality, kindness, and confidence—values that shape everything at Busy Bee Village.
Busy Bee Village is a natural extension of that passion: a welcoming, interactive play space designed for open-ended discovery, life-skill learning, and joyful celebrations. It’s a place where families connect, children thrive, and memories are made.
Danielle lives locally with her husband, Mike, and is inspired every day by her daughters, Kaia and Teja.

Meet Our Director, Teja
Teja brings experience in early childhood environments, hospitality, and family-centered event planning. Her focus is on creating a warm, welcoming, and safe play space where children feel excited to explore—and where parents feel comfortable and supported.
Teja oversees daily operations, cleanliness, staff training, community partnerships, parties, special events, and the overall guest experience. Her passion for building a family-friendly community shines through every detail of the Village.
